      Open your Opera web browser by choosing it from the Start menu or double-clicking on the Opera browser icon.

      Choose the "Tools" menu and click on "Preferences" to open the "Preferences" dialog box. The "Preferences" dialog box contains all of the settings related to your Opera browser.

      Click the "General" tab at the top of the "Preferences" dialog box, if necessary, to display the general settings for your Opera browser.

      Select how you would like to start your browser by choosing a list option from the "Startup" drop-down menu. The "Start with home page" option will let you set a homepage for your browser.

      Type the address of the homepage you would like to use for your browser in the "Home page" text box, or click the "Use current" button to set your browser homepage to the website you are currently viewing.
