Step 1
Fill Easter baskets for the needy. Buy small Easter baskets and fill them with healthy snacks such as raisons, fruit chews and granola bars. Have your preschooler help select the items and fill the baskets. Donate them to an emergency shelter for kids, a battered woman's shelter or other program in your community that provide services to children.
-
Step 2
Pretend your Peter Cotton-tail. Preschoolers often have wonderful imaginations and are eager to play make-believe. Enjoy the start of spring by getting outside and getting some exercise. Draw a bunny trial with chalk on the sidewalk or driveway. Hop like bunnies do.
-
Step 3
Go shopping for an Easter bonnet. Preschool age children love to play dress up. Take your child shopping for an Easter bonnet. Spring hats are also available for boys. Allow your child to try on several different types of hats and help pick out the one he or she likes best.
-
Step 4
Run to the finish line. Have your preschool child participate in an egg race. Tell your preschooler to hold an egg on a spoon. Instruct him to run to the finish line without dropping the egg. If several children are participating turn it into a relay race.
-
Step 5
Get crafty. Make Styrofoam Easter eggs. Buy Styrofoam balls at any craft shop. Let kids get creative and decorate the eggs with paint, stickers, glitter or markers. Other craft ideas include making bunny ears your child can wear or a cotton tail.
-
Step 6
Hold an Easter bunny puppet show. Use a brown paper lunch bag for the puppet. The bunny's face will be the folded bottom of the bag. Have kids decorate the bags. Draw and cut out long floppy bunny ears and glue to the bag.

Step 7
Plant some flowers. Easter and spring go hand in hand. Go shopping with your little one and select some flowers and potting soil. Have your preschooler help you select the spot the flowers will go. Show him or her how to dig up the dirt and plant the flowers.
