Things You’ll Need:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. safflower oil
- 1/3 cup water
- ½ cup molasses
- Large mixing bowl
- Cookie sheet
- 1/4 cups applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 1/2 cups ground oatmeal or oat bran cereal
- 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- Oil
- Baking pan, approximately 9 x 12
Healthy Molasses Horse Cookies
Step1
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

Form the dough into walnut-sized balls and put them on a lightly oiled cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 F for about 15 minutes, or until the healthy horse treats are golden brown.

Store the healthy horse treats in an airtight container.
Healthy Apple and Oat Horse Treats

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Lightly oil the baking pan.
Step3
Put the batter in the baking pan and spread it evenly.
Step4
Bake the healthy apple and oat horse treats for about 25 minutes, or until firm.
Step5
Cut the treats into squares.

Store the healthy apple and oat horse treats in the refrigerator.
