Every spring a sickness sweeps the nation and people everywhere feverishly run to their computers. This sickness is March madness. Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine the type of pool to enter. There are March madness pools that require the entire tourney outcome be predicted at once. There are also pools that let a person pick each week of games separately.

  2. Step 2

Ascertain if friends and relatives would like to enter an online march madness pool or if they have already started one. The personalized competition can make the pool more entertaining. It is just not the same as competing against faceless people on the Internet.

  3. Step 3

Use an email account separate from the main email account used every day. Most online March madness pools require an email account to register for the online contest. Often these sites will send spam emails with the registration, so it is better to have an email account set-up just for handling spam registrations.

  4. Step 4

Register for an online March madness pool. Locate a site that offer a March madness online pool (see below).

  5. Step 5

Make the picks for the online March madness pool. Select the winner of each game and for each round of play until there is only one team left standing.

  6. Step 6

Sit back and enjoy the excitement of March madness.
