Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Large spoon
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips and/or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups of crispy cereal and/or chow mein noodles
  • Aluminum foil
  • Muffin pan
  • Assorted candies
  • Marshmallow chicks
  • Marshmallow cream or peanut butter
  1. Step 1

Put a large piece of aluminum foil over the top of a muffin pan and push the foil down into each muffin cup to create a "nest" shape.

  2. Step 2

Melt the peanut butter chips and/or chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler or in a microwave oven. When the chips are just barely melted, put them in a large bowl and stir in the cereal and/or chow mein in a large bowl until it is coated with chocolate.

  3. Step 3

Put some of the mixture in each section of the muffin pan, forming small "nests." Do this while the mixture is still warm and the chocolate hasn't yet solidified.

  4. Step 4

Put a few of the egg candies in each nest. If necessary, secure them with a little marshmallow cream or peanut butter.

  5. Step 5

Allow the candy birds nests to cool. Put a marshmallow chick in each nest, and secure it with marshmallow cream or peanut butter.

  6. Step 6

Remove the nests from the muffin tins and peel away the tin foil.
