Step 1
Arrange yourself so you're surrounded by the tube sarong. You can step into it or put it over your head.
-
Step 2
Hold the sarong with one hand, and pull that side of the sarong as far as it goes. This should make the tube sarong fit tightly around your waist.
-
Step 3
Bring your hand around the front of your body, wrapping the tube sarong around you. Keep the sarong tightly wrapped around your waist. Bring the sarong around as far as it will go, then hold it tightly against your body.
-
Step 4
Tuck in the tube sarong so it stays on your body without you holding it. To make it extra secure, roll the top of the sarong several times to form a band at the top. For the best fit, keep the final roll above your hips.
-
Step 5
Reopen and tighten your sarong as needed. You might also want to wear clothing underneath your sarong until you get used to wearing it. That way, if a sudden wind comes your way, you won't be left feeling embarrassed.
-
Step 6
Consider other ways to wear your tube sarong. You can wear it on your head as a turban, as a cover up at the beach or after a shower, and you can even use it as a wrap to keep warm.
