Attending a revival is a very simple process. Revivals are held by churches in an effort to rejuvenate the members and invite new members into the congregation. The following steps will tell you exactly how to go about attending a revival.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a church that is in revival. This can be done in a variety of ways. Local newspapers and radio stations usually advertise revivals in the area and you can find information like this. You can also call churches in your area and find out if they have a revival planned.

  2. Step 2

Speak with church members from various churches about revival events they have planned. Often times church members know more about planned events than the newspapers or radios in your area. Get one or two members from different churches to keep you posted on revivals.

  3. Step 3

Contact the church about dates, times, and clothing requirements for the event. Some churches hold their revivals in different venues to accommodate for the larger crowds. You will need to find out this information as well. Other churches hold tent revivals, and after finding out this information and based on the weather conditions, you will need to dress accordingly.

  4. Step 4

Attend the revival. You will be blessed if you attend all sessions of the revival, and you may even find a permanent church home for yourself and your family. Bring someone with you to the revival. You never know what the impact of such a revival may have on someone's life.
