Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Go to your team and ask for their nomination to become the league representative or have an election if more than one person is interested. If you aren't part of a league, recruit friends and family to form a team and offer to be the captain.
Step2
Determine if you have the qualities that make a good league representative. There must be a clear interest in the team, have people skills and the time needed to handle the responsibilities involved when you become league representative.
Step3
Know the basic duties of a league representative. Attend meetings as required by the recreation facility, organize payment of fees and entry forms and maintain contact with team members about times and places of practices and games. Act as a liaison between the facility and team members.
Step4
Study the rules of both the sport, and eligibility rules as well. Make sure each player is aware of the rules and monitor that they are being followed.
Step5
Help organize the league schedule. This may seem easy, but working with a busy facility schedule as well as numerous other adults is a time consuming task. Organization is key to become a successful league representative.
