Easter is a holiday that should be enjoyed by the entire family, including the canine members of your household. To make the dogs feel special and get some cute pictures in the process, make sure that you celebrate Easter with them as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Purchase an Easter bonnet for your dog. If your dog does not mind wearing something on her head, then feel free to dress her up in her Easter best. Haute Dogs carries Easter bonnets for canine friends.

  2. Step 2

Make them an Easter basket. Present your dog with a basket full of their favorite treats on Easter morning. Load it up with biscuits, toys, and bite sized dog morsels.

  3. Step 3

Take them along to your area's Easter parade. They are probably going to enjoy all of the people and sights. You can also ask about walking in the parade if they are dressed up.

  4. Step 4

Give them some scraps from dinner. If you permit your dog to have table food, then fill their bowls with some leftovers from Easter dinner.

  5. Step 5

Set up a hunt for them outside on Easter. Design an Easter hunt meant specifically for dogs. Hide treats all over your yard and watch as your dog searches each item out.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you do give your dog leftovers from dinner, make sure all of the food is safe for her to eat. Certain foods that humans eat are not digested well by dogs.
  • Don't give your dogs any Easter chocolate. Chocolate can be fatally toxic to dogs.
