1
Create a window display for your business by remembering that simplicity is the key. Choose a minimum of objects to put into your window display. You must limit the number of pieces displayed so that the window doesn't look cluttered. The number of items you use for your display will depend, of course, on the size of your window.
-
2
Group your window display items in groups of 3 to 5 when creating your display. Odd numbers seem to be more eye-catching. Make sure you leave enough space between the groups of items. Again, resist clutter.

3
Use plenty of lighting when you create a window display. Even in the daylight hours, you window should be brightly lit. Consider using colored spotlights to draw attention to your most unique items.
-
4
Choose mostly light, brightly-colored items for your display and any decorative accents you use around your items. Add a few brightly-colored decorations around your display items that go along with the season. During fall, for example, scatter a few colored leaves (real or artificial) in between your display items.
-
5
Change your window display regularly with the seasons and when you get new products that your business has to offer. Keep your window display interesting to passers-by and they will be more likely to stop in.
-
6
Keep your window display clean. Part of a successful marketing display is keeping your creation neat and clean. Dust regularly and remove spider webs (unless it's Halloween, of course).
