How to Wash an RV
While an RV is a big vehicle, washing it doesn't have to be a big task. With the proper tools and using a good washing technique, you can wash your RV in no time and be ready to hit the road again. Use caution around wet surfaces, as they tend to be slippery.

1
Gather your cleaning materials. Park the RV in a shady place. The water can drain better if the RV sits on a slight incline.
-
2
Soap the tires and wheels, and then let them soak. Apply degreaser as necessary to the wheels and to the body. Rinse the wheels. Wash the wheels wells as well.
-
-
3
Spray the entire RV. This lets the dirt to begin to loosen from the body of the RV.
-
4
Start at the top of the RV and work your way down and around the vehicle. If your RV has stairs to the top, carefully climb them and wash the top of the RV as well. Wash and rinse one section at a time.
-
5
Cover the body with a car wash shampoo specifically formulated for your type of RV body. Mix the soap according to directions.
-
6
Allow the soap to work for a few minutes, then rub the body with a sponge to further loosen the dirt. A natural sponge is preferable to a microfiber cloth or synthetic sponge. Rinse the RV with a stream of clear water.
-
7
Give the RV a final rinse. Allow it to air dry. Or, if you want, you can chamois it dry.

If you use a brush with a long handle, sponge,or a mitt. I have found that a device call the dirt dropper will help to remove debris from them. This will reduce the possibility of scratching the surface. Its a cheap investment
