How to Scrapbook a Honeymoon
After the hustle and bustle leading up to the wedding, most couples relax with a honeymoon. It is a relaxing time that will bring happy memories to mind for years to come. Unfortunately, memories fade over time, so make sure to immortalize the entire honeymoon in a scrapbook. A scrapbook will allow couples to travel back in time, just by paging through the honeymoon memorabilia.

1
Start planning the honeymoon scrapbook before the honeymoon. Decide what the scrapbook will contain and make note to pick up memorabilia at every location visited during the honeymoon. A good plan is to save everything.
-
2
Seek out memorabilia that is unique to the honeymoon location. Collect postcards, restaurant menus, drink coasters, itineraries, plane tickets, matchbooks, magnets and anything else that is memorable.
-
-
3
Remember to take lots of photographs.
-
4
Place all memorabilia in a safe, dry spot. A zippered compartment in a suitcase is an ideal spot to store the scrapbook materials until it is time to put the scrapbook together.
-
5
Write down memories, feelings, what was eaten at restaurants and any other memories that happen throughout the trip each day. It only takes a few moments to jot down some details, but the honeymoon scrapbook will be more personal if impressions and journaling are included on the pages.
-
6
Organize the honeymoon memorabilia before starting the scrapbook. Plan out the pages and decide what items to group together. Be creative. Instead of purchasing background papers, use maps, menus or posters for the background. The scrapbook should be as special and unique as the honeymoon.
-
7
Relive the honeymoon memories by paging through the scrapbook frequently with a loved one.
