How to Calculate a Numerology Number

Numerology numbers can be used in a similar fashion to astrology. Your birth number is calculated and that number lets you know about certain aspects of your personality. Many people also use their numerology number as their lucky number. You do not need to see a numerologist to calculate your number. You can do it on your own in a few simple steps.

1. Write out your entire birth date on a piece of paper. This includes the month, day, and full year of your birth.

2. Translate the birth date into numbers. For example, March 9, 1977, becomes 3, 9, 1, 9, 7 and 7.

3. Add each of the numbers together. Using the numbers from above that would mean 3+9+1+9+7+7=36.

4. Take the final two numbers and add them together. So, an equation that results in 36 would calculate to 9 (3+6). Your numerology number is then considered to be 9.

5. Research the significance of your numerology number. After you figure out what the number is, then you should look up the traits that are reflected by that number. Look online at an astrology site or buy a book that discusses numerology.
