Instructions

    • 1

Check the blade of the slicer and the hopper to make sure they are clean and sanitized. It is always healthy practice to wipe down the slicer after each order is cut. This will prevent one meat from picking up the flavor of the meat cut on the previous order.

    • 2

Remove the plastic wrap from the piece of meat that you will be slicing. Make sure there are no thin rinds that need to be removed before slicing. Bologna is a meat that has a paper wrapping on the outside of the roll that should be removed before slicing.

    • 3

Turn on the slicer and load the piece of meat into the hopper tray. Set the thickness of the slice to be made on the round selector knob. Make a test slice and check the thickness. Once the thickness of the slices are as you like it, slice the amount of meat that you want. Some slicers have an automatic feed that you can turn on with a switch and the hopper will move back and forth across the blade.

    • 4

Turn the slicer off and remove the meat from the hopper. Re-wrap the meat and store in the refrigerator. Wipe down the slicer and reset the thickness knob to zero to prevent someone from cutting themselves on the exposed edge of the blade.
