Instructions

    • 1

Remove any large particles of meat or cheese from the deli slicer. To clean the deli slicer between uses, put on a safety glove and clean the slicer with a disposable sanitizing cloth. Wipe the surface of the slicer with the disposable cloth, and dispose of the cloth after each use. Do this between cleanings to keep the deli slicer food safe.

    • 2

Clean the deli slicer by washing it with hot water and the recommended detergent. Follow the instructions from the commercial manufacturer about the proper mixture to use for detergents. Thoroughly clean all parts that come in contact with the food. Rinse well with hot water to remove any remaining detergent. The deli slicer should be thoroughly cleaned every day or after heavy use. It's also recommended that the deli slicer be cleaned after any raw or uncooked meats have been sliced.

    • 3

Sanitize the deli slicer after it's been washed and rinsed. Sanitize the slicer by using a hot water rinse or placing the removable parts in a dishwasher. After rinsing with very hot water, apply a sanitizing solution to the deli slicer and let the sanitizing solution air dry. The sanitizing solution needs to be mixed according to directions to keep it food safe.
