-
Step 1
Choose your pictures for the page. You can highlight one large photo or several smaller snapshots. It's usually best to put an odd number of photos on each scrapbook page. If you don't want to use the original photo, make a color copy.
-
Step 2
Find scrapbooking papers that match your photos. You can select birthday sheets that highlight birthday photos or fishing decorations to show off the big catch. There's a huge selection of papers available.
-
Step 3
Lay your pictures on the scrapbooking background sheet. Crop any unnecessary elements from the photos, if you like.
-
Step 4
Cut frames of contrasting scrapbooking sheets slightly larger than the photos. Trim the edge with fancy scissors, if you like. The frames can be different widths to add variety to your page.
-
Step 5
Use double-sided, acid-free tape to attach the frames to the photos. You can also use tape tabs.
-
Step 6
Put the framed photos on the background sheet once again. When you have the photos the way you want them, use the double-stick tape to attach the photos to the background sheet. Add any stickers or embellishments that you like.
-
Step 7
Select a pen designed for scrapbooking. Write a story of the events in the photos. You can make it as simple or as detailed as you like.
-
Step 8
Slip the scrapbook page into an acid-free sleeve to go in your scrapbook. Or insert the page into a picture frame.
