    Wrapped Candy Bouquet

  1. Step 1

Purchase wrapped hard candy with flagged ends. Choose colors based on the occasion. Pastels are a good choice for a new parents' gift, baby showers and wedding showers. Use gold, silver and jewel tones for holiday bouquets.

  2. Step 2

Choose a container. Use a mug, a flower pot or a similar container. Decorate the flower pot first if you wish. Paint it, embellish with beads or wrap with cellophane.

  3. Step 3

Put some candies in the bottom of the container to weigh it down. Insert a block of styrofoam on top and then insert a foam ball on a dowel. The height of the block will determine the height of the bouquet. Insert the dowel into the styrofoam block. Cover the top of the base with moss or shred and then glue some candies to the top of the base.

  4. Step 4

Stick a florist pin into one end of a candy wrapper and stick to the styrofoam ball. Stick another pin into the other end of the wrapper. Attach candies until the entire ball is covered.

  5. Step 5

Make small bows from double faced satin ribbon in colors that coordinate with the candies. Pin the bows between the candies.

  6. Step 6

Cut 6 pieces of curling ribbon. Tie around the bottom of the dowel and curl the ends. Tie a wide ribbon around the dowel, above the curling ribbon.

  7. Candy Bar Bouquet

  8. Step 1

Purchase candy bars and boxed movie-style candy. Cover the candy bars with printed wrappers or colored Mylar if you wish.

  9. Step 2

Choose a container. Use a mug, a decorated flower pot or a similar container.

  10. Step 3

Insert a block of styrofoam into the container. Cover the top of the base with moss or shred.

  11. Step 4

Tape the candy bars and boxed candy to lollipop sticks. Insert the sticks into the styrofoam base. Arrange them so that the back row is the highest and other rows are staggered.

  12. Step 5

Attach ribbons, silk flowers, Mylar sprays or floral picks to lollipop sticks. Stick them in the base among the candy bars.
