Trivia Pursuit is a great parlor game which anyone can play. There are various versions of the game but the rules are essentially the same for each. The DVD Pop Culture game provides a perfect diversion for people who enjoy the culture of the day.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set the game up. The game includes game board, DVD, one die, questions and answers, four tokens, scoring wedges and instructions. Be prepared to play at least an hour or two.

  2. Step 2

Select a token. Since there are only four tokens, you can have either four players or four teams. Don't forget to have someone to read the questions, preferably someone who isn't playing but is willing to act as "host."

  3. Step 3

Roll the die and move your token the number of spaces you rolled.

  4. Step 4

Land on a color square and answer a question in that category. The questions in this version are from Music, Movies, Fads, TV, Sports and Games and Buzz. If you answer the question correctly you get to roll again, if not your turn is over.

  5. Step 5

Collect wedges. You don't collect wedges for answering questions when you land on the colored squares. In order to collect a wedge, you must land on a special square on the board and answer a question from the DVD. If you take too long to answer the question, it is put up for grabs and any team or player can answer it.

  6. Step 6

Win the game by collecting all six wedges and then answer one more question. Enjoy playing Trivial Pursuit DVD Pop Culture.
