Find a site to play the online games, such as 1980's Games or Triplets and Us(see Resources below).

Make sure you have the Shockwave plug-in to play those games that require it and JAVA for the games that require it. If you don't have them, you can download them free (see Resources below).

Select a game to play. Since you are looking for these arcade games, they are assuming that you know how to play. The only instructions you get are how to use the keys on your keyboard to play the classic arcade game.

Put in money. In some of the classic arcade games, you have to insert a coin to help you feel like you're playing in the arcade. This is accomplished by using a key on the keyboard.

Play the classic arcade game. It's not as easy as it sounds. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard takes practice. However, if you are anxious to play the games you will learn. After all you had to learn to use the controls in the arcade machine.
