Half-Life 2: Episode One is the first in a series of shooter games designed by Valve Corporation that picks up where Half-Life left off. Released in June of 2006, each episode continues the story of scientist Gordon Freeman. However, episodes can stand alone, so you don't need the previous episode to play the next one. You can find cheats for the PC version of the game on the Internet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Modify the shortcut that opens the game. Right=click on the shortcut icon, select "Properties," add "–console" before the ending quote symbol and then close the properties box.

  2. Step 2

After the modification is complete, press the tilde (~) key to bring up the cheat console. Type in "sv_cheats1" and press enter, which enables the cheats.

  3. Step 3

After you find the cheat codes you want, enter them in the same manner. Press tilde (~) and enter the appropriate information for the cheat.

The trainers show you how to add health points to your character, give your character unlimited armor or ammo, extend the its auxiliary power, freeze your enemies and perform a super jump to kill an enemy with one hit.

  6. Step 6

If these are not enough cheats and tips for you, then go the old-fashioned route and buy one of the many gaming magazines on the market. However, you may end up paying for what you could have easily found free online.
