Step 1
Send out a casting notice. You can advertise the open positions in entertainment publications or on the amusement park's website. Give the dates of the casting call and times that you are going to be seeing talent. You can also send notices to local talent agencies.
-
Step 2
Be specific about your requirements. Include any background training that the performers must have to audition. Let the performers know that if they do not meet these requirements, they will not be allowed to audition.
-
Step 3
Screen applicants through email. Ask contenders to send their inquiries through email. Give out additional information to the qualified performers.
-
Step 4
Ask applicants to bring a headshot and resume. You can review this information during their audition and keep it if you are considering the performer for the job.
-
Step 5
Tell the applicants that you are not accepting phone calls after an audition. Otherwise, you are going to get barraged with eager performers who want to know if they got the job.
-
Step 6
Hold a second set of auditions. Call back the performers that you were interested in to make a final decision about who you wish to hire for the talent job.
