How to Donate to Feed the Children

Nobody likes to think about children going to bed hungry each night, but it is a reality throughout the world. The Feed the Children organization has spent many years providing nourishing food to families in need, but it is a non-profit charity that relies on the help of others to succeed.

1. Make a one-time contribution to the organization. Secured payments can be made online via the Feed the Children website. You can contribute your gift to children in the United States or around the globe. There are designated amounts, or you can name an amount to contribute.
2. Register to make monthly monetary contributions to the organization. Again, payments are secured and are scheduled to be drafted out of a designated account each month.
3. Organize a fundraiser with fellow students, co-workers, etc. Brainstorm for potential fundraiser event ideas. Once a project idea is found, submit an online application stating your proposal to the Feed the Children foundation. If the event is approved, you are on your way.
4. Make a proposal to your employer about a corporate donation program. Perhaps your boss will support a matching-funds drive, in which the company will match dollar-for-dollar the contributions your receive up to a certain amount.
5. Offer fundraiser proposals to local schools and churches. This is a good way to promote youth involvement in the community in addition to providing food for children in need.
