Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White tablecloth
  • Green table runner
  • Window box planter
  • Faux grass
  • Easter eggs
  • White charger plates
  • Green dinner plates
  • Pastel soup bowls
  • Water glasses
  • Linen napkins
  • Metallic marker
  • Egg holder
  • Tea lights
  • Cut glass candle holders
  1. Step 1

Cover the table with a crisp white linen cloth.

  2. Step 2

Lay a piece of spring green cloth along the center, to act as a table runner. Cut a length of cloth to fit your table and hem with iron-on hemming tape.

  3. Step 3

Fill a long window box planter with silk grass. Nestle colorful Easter eggs in the grass for an easy centerpiece.

  4. Step 4

Set each place setting with a white charger plate, green dinner plate and a pastel soup bowl. Mix and match pastel shades or select one color for a more coordinated look. Add water glasses or wine goblets to each place setting.

  5. Step 5

Fold a white linen napkins into a flower shape and place inside each soup bowl.

  6. Step 6

Make distinctive name cards by writing each guests name on an Easter egg (either real or faux) and metallic marker or paint. Place each egg name card in a cut glass or silver egg holder.

  7. Step 7

Place white tea lights in clear cut glass holders along the length of the table for soft lighting.

Tips & Warnings
  • Faux grass can be found at most craft stores. Silk varieties look almost identical to real grass.
