Instructions

    • 1

Color the muffin cups. If you're using paint, set them aside long enough to dry. Color them any color you like, and use as many colors as you want. You will need 2 muffin cups to form flower heads for each flower.

    • 2

Cut out a stem and some leaves for each muffin cup from the green construction paper.

    • 3

Glue the muffin cups to the stem, with one on top of the other. Flatten the bottom out a bit.

    • 4

Draw some tiny black dots in the center of the flower, or glue on some sequins or tiny beads.

    • 5

Arrange some muffin-cup flowers in the glass jar.

    • 6

Tie a ribbon around the top of the jar.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use more muffin cups if you want fuller flowers. Use as many as you like.

  • For a special gift, glue a picture of mom in the center of each flower.

  • Glue a flower to a large piece of construction paper and make a Mother's Day Card. Write your own poem or greeting for the front.
