1
Keep an insect swatter handy. If you need to dig through a closet to get to the swatter, then you may not be able to catch the bee in time.
-
2
Track the bee's movements. It is not wise to just suddenly start swinging at it. This reaction is likely to trigger an attack by the bee since it is going to feel threatened.
-
3
Wait until it lands. The bee is likely to land sooner or later. Bees, like other insects, have a tendency to stay around the doors and windows of a house.
-
4
Move quickly and swat the bee. Your goal is to kill it with one swat instead of having to hit it multiple times.
-
5
Remove the bee from the swatter with caution. You can still get stung when disposing of the bee carcass. Put on gloves and handle the bee carefully.

Tips & Warnings
If the bee is near a door, then you may want to lure the bee outside instead. This is a more humane thing to do than swatting the insect.
People who are allergic to bee stings should not try to swat a bee on their own. If the bee attacks, it may trigger a severe allergic reaction.
