How to Replace Portable DVD Batteries

Although most of the time you probably won't need to replace the battery in your portable DVD player, some times the battery life does run out. Instead of buying a new player, you can get a new battery and install it so that the portable DVD player lasts you for several more years.

1. Check with the manufacturer. In some cases, your battery may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. You send them the old battery and they'll mail you a new one in a few weeks.
