How to Visit Louisville's 4th Street Live!

4th Street Live! is a shopping area in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, which offers several retail stores and entertainment venues in one place. You can find different restaurants, clubs and even a bowling alley for your day or night out. 4th Street Live! is close to many hotels and public attractions in Louisville and is well within walking distance of downtown.

1. Choose from a variety of restaurants for lunch and dinner inside the 4th Street Live! shopping area. You can find restaurants ranging from Mexican to Cajun. There are also restaurant standards like Hard Rock Cafe, and a variety of fast food eateries inside the 4th Street Live! food court.

2. Enjoy the nightlife at 4th Street Live! inside one of the many clubs. Angel's Rock Bar offers live rock and roll and DJs. Howl at the Moon is a place with dueling pianos that involves the crowd in providing entertainment. Relax and enjoy a good bourbon at Maker's Mark, where the fancy venue allows you to sit back by the fireplace and enjoy the quieter atmosphere of this lounge.

3. Play pool or bowl at 4th Street Live! Go to Lucky Strike and enjoy a meal in the restaurant then bowl a few frames at the fourteen-lane bowling alley. At Felt, you can shoot pool at one of ten pool tables and enjoy a cocktail at the 50-foot long bar. Felt also has a giant aquarium and offers a private room that's perfect for business meetings.

4. Shop at 4th Street Live! in stores such as Hallmark, Borders, T-Mobile and Foot Locker. The Borders store also offers a cafe with a patio where you can rest with a cup of tea after a busy day of shopping and fun.
