Locate the Reflexology Gallbladder Zone

Stimulating your gallbladder using reflexology helps release toxins that the gallbladder has stored. This causes the toxins to be released through your intestines and makes you feel healthier. Reflexology is used to treat many symptoms and conditions. Reflexology releases stress on certain areas of your body and stimulates them to work more efficiently.

Instructions

    • 1

Rub the patient's hands and feet with a moisturizing lotion before beginning. The type of lotion does not matter but lotions that contain lavender and chamomile help the patient relax more.

    • 2

Place one of the patient's feet in your hands with your thumbs on the sole of their feet.

    • 3

Start below the second smallest toe and rub your thumb down to the middle of the arch of the foot. This is a reflexology gallbladder zone. Rub and apply pressure continuously until the patient relaxes and the pain subsides. Repeat this process on the other foot.

    • 4

Hold the patient's hand. Rub the center of the palm of the hand below the space between the last two fingers. This is another reflexology gallbladder zone. Rub until all discomfort has left the patient. Repeat this process on the other hand.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is much better for overall health to do reflexology for five minutes every day than to do it for one hour every once in a while. Doing it on a regular basic keeps all of the organs stimulated for proper function.

  • If you experience persistent gallbladder pain, visit your doctor because it may be a sign of gallstones.
