Step 1
Go to the hockeyshot.com website. Click on the "Power Builder" link to get all the details and specs on this off-ice resistance training tool. Be sure to check out the testimonials from Mike Hartman and Dr. Clint Steele.
-
Step 2
Read the installation instructions to determine where you will set up this training tool. The Power builder requires a spot on the wall to anchor the cord and enough space to move your hockey stick. You'll also want to set up your Power Builder in a spot where you are able to mark a straight line on the floor.
-
Step 3
Determine what resistance level you need. HockeyShot recommends a yellow cord for young hockey players from ages 6 to 9, red for kids 10 to 12, a blue cord for kids ages 13 to 15 and a black cord for ages 16 to 19.
-
Step 4
Click on the "Buy Now" button and fill in the online form. This page has all the HockeyShot products and an order form at the bottom of the page.
-
Step 5
Consider buying a used Power Builder. You can find a used HockeyShot Power Builder resistance training tool used on sites like eBay, but know that the resistance cord has a limited lifespan and you might be better off buying new.
