The winning team from the Western Conference Finals will play the winner of the Eastern Cup Finals in a best-of-7 match up for the coveted Stanley Cup. Western Conference Playoff teams are Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Columbus Blue Jackets, Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Phoenix Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues. 1. Wait until the NHL season starts to wind down. It will become clear which teams will advance to the finals.
2. Start looking for tickets as soon as the NHL announces the teams going to the Stanley Cup Western Conference finals.
3. Go online to your team's website. Look for tickets there. Also check with online independent ticket brokers. These sites are where people will sell their tickets. See Resources below.
4. Compare the prices of tickets before buying. People selling their hockey tickets online can basically charge whatever they want, so beware that they may be astronomically expensive.
5. Buy your tickets, making sure the seller or website is reputable first. Opt for a well-known website.
6. Get the tickets sent to your home via FedEx or have them waiting at "Will Call."
7. Arrange your transportation and hotel if you're traveling. Hotels in the area should offer deals and discounts during the playoffs.

Tips & Warnings

• Buy tickets to later playoff games to save some money. But, beware that your team may be eliminated by then.
• Ask about the refund policy if some of the playoff games don't happen because of elimination.
