Step 1
Decide on the sizes you need. You want to check the sizes of all your family members that you may buy t-shirts for. If you don't think you will remember, write them down so you have them wherever you go. T-shirts appear everywhere and you never know when you'll find one that is perfect for that special person.
-
Step 2
Look in stores when you are shopping. T-Shirts are so popular they are usually in all places in the store. You may find them at check out counters and at the end of aisles, as well as in the children's, women's and men's areas.
-
Step 3
Check out the stores when you are on vacation. You will usually find t-shirts that have the name of the area you are visiting--like the Grand Canyon or Disneyworld--as well as pictures of the area.
-
Step 4
Watch for sport t-shirts, especially when your team wins anything big in their field. For example, when the Phillies won the World Series there were t-shirts with "World Series Champs" on them or they may have a list of the players on them.
-
Step 5
Shop for specific t-shirts. You may want to look for t-shirts for the collectors that you buy gifts for. As long as you know their size--or the t-shirt is returnable--you can probably find the t-shirt you want for your favorite collectors. For example, if someone in your family is a Disney fan, you can get t-shirts of most every character and t-shirts of most of the movies.
-
Step 6
Find t-shirts on the Internet to buy. There are some sites in the resource section that will give you an idea of what you can find in a t-shirt, but you can also look for your favorites if you don't choose to shop in a store.
-
Step 7
Design your own t-shirt for causes such as, "Walk for Juvenile Diabetes" or just for fun use a saying you may use all the time. You can put your picture or the one of your loved one a shirt to wear. There are numerous ways to design your own t-shirt, just use your imagination.
