2. Choose a bare-bones model that just includes the basics--motor, gear box, upright shaft, and arms, or get an enclosed model with or without a roof or partial roof. Ultra-deluxe models come fully enclosed with a stall and office area on the inside of the walking circle.
3. Do an Internet search for "horse hot walker" and visit some of the websites to get ideas and sources for your hot walker, or use the resources listed below.
4. Order your hot walker on line or visit your local farm and ranch store where you will probably have to place a special-order.
5. Be prepared with a contractor ready to take delivery of the horse hot walker. They are heavy and cumbersome to unload and set up, so it's best to have help. If you choose a deluxe model, the manufacturer will sometimes furnish a crew to bring the hot walker to your site and assemble it there.
