How to Find Free Furniture for the Sims

As the popularity of the Sims computer game has increased, more users have created websites where other gamers can download special freebies for the Sims such as furniture, houses, skins and more. With just a few simple searches and clicks, you can find free furniture to use in your Sims game.

Instructions

1. Type "The Sims: Free Furniture" into your search engine. You might want to type which game you have, such as The Sims Hot Date or The Sims II. The free downloads must be compatible with the game that you have.

2. Choose a website from the search results and click on the pieces of furniture that you are most interested in. Add the website to your favorites so that you can come back for updates.

3. Save your pieces of furniture to your Downloads folder located in your Sims game folder. You can find this by clicking on the Maxis folder, then clicking the Sims folder. Open your Downloads folder to find all of your downloads and extras within your game.

4. Load your game to find your pieces of new furniture in "Build" mode when you play the Sims. You should be able to find your new downloads within your furniture. Have fun with your new finds!
