How to Display Men's Locker Room Etiquette
If you belong to a gym, chances are you've changed in the men's locker room before or after working out. Chances are, too, that the experience was less than pleasant. Though every establishment has its own set of rules for the locker room, there's basic locker room etiquette that you should follow at all times to make the men's locker room a place where everyone can be comfortable.

1
Leave room around you for others to change. Don't spread your clothes and belongings out all over the bench in front of the lockers and take up too much room. The lockers are close together, and the next guy needs room for his stuff.
-
2
Dry off thoroughly before leaving the shower area. Don't leave the shower area dripping wet and trail the water all over the floor on the way to your locker. Some people in bare feet or socks may step in the puddles you leave.

3
Cover yourself with a towel while walking through the locker room after showering. Many men are uncomfortable with nakedness and would rather not have a parade of naked men march past them while they are changing. Respect others.
-
4
Place a towel on the bench or in the sauna when sitting naked. Follow this simple locker room etiquette at all times. Keep in mind that others may sit where you are sitting later.
-
5
Wash your hands after using the facilities. Touching the locker handles or the gym equipment after touching your own equipment is unsanitary. Help keep the locker room as clean as possible by washing your hands when you're done.

Tips & Warnings
If you're using a towel the gym supplies, place it in a laundry bin, if one is available, instead of leaving it lying around after using it.
