How to Visit the Zimmerman House

The Zimmerman House is a home built in 1950 by Frank Lloyd Wright, and is available for public tours. One of the few Wright homes open to the public, it is located in New England and filled with Wright's designs, including the furniture, textiles and even the mail box. This a must see on any New Hampshire vacation.

Step1
Make reservations to tour the Zimmerman House. Reservations are required and are available for groups as well as individuals.
Step2
Call 603-669-6144 ext. 108 to schedule tours Monday through Friday during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. This line will allow you to schedule tours to suit your time frame.
Step3
Contact the downtown office at 603-668-0256 to arrange for a same-day tour during the weekends.
Step4
Arrange larger group tours by contacting 603-669-6144 ext. 113. They will be happy to schedule tours at convenient times for groups. Each tour group is limited to 12 people and children under 7 years old are not allowed in the Zimmerman House. Larger groups can be accommodated by touring in stages and groups are also eligible for discounted admission price.
Step5
Purchase tickets to tour the Zimmerman House by going to Ticketweb and searching for Zimmerman House. Tickets cost $11 for each adult and $8 for Senior Citizens and students.

Tips & Warnings

  • There are no public restrooms in the Zimmerman House. Consider finding other accommodations prior to your tour time.
