Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a class or buy a video that features couple's yoga. Amazon.com has several offerings in their video library that can teach you the basics of couple's yoga. Select titles include "Power Yoga for Couples" and "Intimate Yoga for Couples."

  2. Step 2

Start out with easy poses. If your partner is new to yoga, then don't try to show him up by performing advanced poses. Start simple by showing him how to do the lotus, fish and bow poses.

  3. Step 3

Maintain eye contact. While you are going through the different poses, lock eyes to keep your connection strong.

  4. Step 4

Touch often. The point of couple's yoga is to feel closer to your partner and you can achieve this by frequently physically touching one another. Hold hands and help maneuver your partner into the yoga poses.

  5. Step 5

Add more sensual poses into your routine. If you are looking for a way to spice up your sex life, then couple's yoga may be the way to go.

  6. Step 6

Relax at the end of the session. If you perform couple's yoga at home, then turn down the lights and embrace each other once you have finished.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't try to force any of the yoga poses on your partner. They should only complete poses that they feel comfortable with.
