Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Conduct an Internet search for artist workshops for women.
Step2
Narrow your search results down using your preferred art form, your region and the availability dates of the workshop. Try to find workshops that are led by instructors who have won awards, put on shows or have otherwise been recognized for their artistic achievements.
Step3
Reserve your spot for the artist's workshop. Artist workshops that are geared to specific people often fill up quickly.
Step4
Register and pay for the workshop. Purchase all the required classroom materials.
Step5
Participate in the artist's workshop with other women. Build your skills in your preferred art form while networking and establishing bonds with other women with whom you share interests or artistic goals.
Step6
Find support systems within the workshops. Women in workshops often provide other women with help in their endeavors. Some may know of extra activities for women artists.
Step7
Complete all your assignments. Turn in any projects that may be due at the end of the workshop course.
Step8
Finish the workshop. Obtain a certificate of completion.
Step9
Have collaborative or individual work celebrated or performed. Use your exposure in the artists workshop to pursue other artistic endeavors.
