Check with the store you are shopping at. Many companies and stores are now offering personal shoppers in their facilities to help with your shopping needs. They may also offer toll-free numbers or email personal shoppers as well.

2
Find an independent personal shopper in your area. Look in your local yellow pages, check with the local Chamber of Commerce or ask around town to find a personal shopper in your area to help with your shopping needs. Sticking locally can often save you a little money, since you won't need to worry about shipping or delivery costs.

Surf the web. Many personal shoppers now operate from the comfort of their own homes, doing the needed shopping online and making sure it gets shipped to the right place at the right time. This method may cost a little more because of shipping costs, but it opens your shopping choices up to more than your local area.

Use a personal shopper website. There are websites that allow you to build wish lists, personal needs and gift lists. You enter in some key information about yourself or the people on your gift list, such as clothing sizes and favorite items, and the site will generate a list for you to choose from. Personal Shopper is just one of these sites (see Resources below).
