How to Play Skee Ball
J.D. Estes invented Skee ball in 1909 in Philadelphia. It's a game that you find in arcades as well as carnivals. If you have ever bowled you will find Skee ball similar to it. The differences are that you are using an incline to roll the ball up and instead of knocking pins down you need to get the ball into rings. Read on to learn how to play skeeball.

1
Put the appropriate amount of coins or tokens into the machine. Pull the level and you will get nine baseball size balls to use in the game. When they are done, the game is over.
-
2
Roll the first ball up the ramp, over the bumper and into the scoring rings, which have numbers associated with them. The higher the point value the harder it is to get the ball into it.

3
Continue until you have used all the balls. Each ball will get a certain amount of points and the tickets you receive will depend on the total of your score. The higher the score the more tickets you will get.
-
4
Redeem the tickets for prizes in the arcade. You can use your tickets at any time. If you are trying to win a certain prize and don't have enough tickets to buy it, you can save the tickets until you have managed to get enough tickets for the prize.

Check for expiration dates. Usually the tickets do not expire. You can use them immediately or you can hold on to them and redeem them at a later date. However, if you are not playing Skee ball at an arcade, but at a carnival, you will probably have to redeem the tickets immediately.
