Cruises are an exciting way to see multiple destinations within one vacation while still having all inclusive accommodations. Exploring beautiful Bermuda is no exception when it comes to cruise destinations. Many cruise lines, both major and minor, offer Bermuda cruises. Use these steps to learn how to plan a Bermuda cruise.

From Quick Guide: Cruisin' Together
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Research the various cruise lines to see the pricing, dates, accommodations and other important information offered about a Bermuda cruise. Consider smaller cruise lines for an even better price, but make sure they are well-established and safe. Some of the big lines to check out are Carnival Cruise Lines, Bermuda Cruise Travels and Bermuda Island Cruising.

  2. Step 2

Consider the accommodations you want and the other features you need. Look at the different accommodations and itineraries of various Bermuda cruises to see which one would best fit your needs. If you have special needs, such as a wheelchair or special diet, make sure the cruise line you are considering can accommodate those needs.

  3. Step 3

Decide on the time frame for your cruise. After checking to see when the various cruise lines offer a Bermuda cruise, decide on the month you would most like to go. If you are considering the weather, remember to look at the weather in and around Bermuda during that time frame, not your local information.

  4. Step 4

Call your travel agent. Using a travel agent will not only save you the hassle of putting the trip together, but can also save you money with discounts that are offered through travel agents only and other tricks of the trade. Make sure to call them in plenty of time to allow for booking problems, air fare arrangements and other travel arrangements.

  5. Step 5

Explore Bermuda. While the cruise will be full of incredible things to do and great people to meet, exploring the islands is another great stop on the trip. If you are a golfer, there are eight golf courses on the 21 square miles of island. With their numerous ship wrecks, coral reefs and beautiful waters, diving is also popular.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check out the wreck site of the Constellation for one of the most popular dives. Dive season is April through October and there are many instructors and guides to choose from.
