Things You'll Need:
- Bar stool kit
- Glue
- Screwdriver
- Screws
-
Step 1
Begin to build your bar stool by putting together the back of the chair. Find the top and bottom back rails. Now find the slats. Take each slat and insert it into the top rail.
-
Step 2
Insert the bottom rail into the slats by lining up the holes and pushing the rail onto the slats. You must line up the holes and insert into all holes at once.
-
Step 3
Assemble the bottom of your bar stool. Take the two rear legs and insert one of the side rail pieces—-all the side rail pieces are the same—-into one of the rear legs.
-
Step 4
Find the top rail piece for the rear leg. This have knobs on it for attaching the back, so make sure you have the correct piece. Insert into same rear leg. Now take the other leg and attach it to the rail by lining up the hole and pushing the leg and rail together.
-
Step 5
Collect the front legs and rail pieces and repeat the previous step. Now connect the front and rear legs sub assemblies with the remainder of the rails. Insert rails into rear legs first. Then connect front assembly by pushing it and the rails together all in one step.
-
Step 6
Locate the back assembly of the chair and notice the holes in the bottom of the bottom back rail. Swab glue inside these holes. Now see the knobs on the rear rail piece. Line up the holes and knobs and insert.
-
Step 7
Finish your bar stool by assembling the seat. Place the seat on the chair frame. Use the screws that came with the kit to screw the seat to the frame. Build the rest of the bar stools.
