Attending the Sundance Film Festival screenings offers a film student, teacher or enthusiast a chance to experience the film promotion madness in a small mountain town called Park City. Seeing a screening at Sundance requires these steps to make sure you see enough screenings to satisfy your thirst for film.

Instructions

Step1
Register your name with the festival online. Go to Sundance.org and follow the links to viewing films. Then, follow the directions to register with the festival to get your ticket package or individual tickets. Tickets and dates are randomly picked by a computer.
Step2
Pick up your tickets in Park City, Utah at the festivals Main Box Office. The information you need to know to guide you through the process is on the website. Bring your ID with you to get your ticket package or individual tickets.
Step3
Navigate yourself around the festival and listen for updates on screenings. Every morning on the day before the first screenings at 8 a.m., the Main Box Office has a limited number of tickets available.
Step4
Arrive at the Main Box Office at 8 a.m. to get the day-of-show tickets, which can only be purchased in person, not online.
Step5
Get on the wait list. Two hours before the screening go to the theater of the movie you want to see. Get your number, which puts you on a wait list. Come back 30 minutes prior to the screening. If you get in, it costs you only $10, but it has to be cash only.
