Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Visit a local library and search out magazines aimed specifically at Latinas. You will be able to browse through each magazine free of charge and find the one that appeals the most to your interests, whether it be fashion, music, the arts or the Latina community in general. Use the subscription cards that can usually be found between the pages of the magazine if think you want to receive the magazine on a regular basis.
Step2
Browse through the periodical section of local bookstores to see what type of Latina magazines are currently available. This will allow you to compare individual titles without having to commit to a subscription.
Step3
Check out online sources, such as Amazon, for a listing of Latina magazines that are available (see Resources below). You may be able to pick individual issues to be shipped to your home or business, or subscribe for a year or more. The Amazon site also offers readers' reviews and opinions of the magazines so that you will be able to find a Latina publication that is well respected in the Hispanic community.
Step4
Subscribe directly to Latina magazines by using their associated websites to enter your information. Most of these sites will allow you to choose between paying for your subscription with a credit card via a secure server or being billed later via regular mail.
Step5
Pick a Latina magazine based upon its particular geographic relevance. For instance, there are Latina magazines available that cater more specifically to South Americans, as opposed to Mexicans or Central Americans. Often these types of Latina magazines feature stories about what is going on back in the homeland in terms of music, politics or just general news.
