Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 9-by-13 glass baking dish
  • Measuring cups
  • Oven and oven mitts
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 14 oz. can of sweetend condensed milk
  • 1 6 oz. package of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 6 oz. package of butterscotch morsels
  • 1 1/3 cups of flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Grocery List

Step1
Purchase grocery items and refrigerate butter until you are ready to bake.
Step2
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and melt butter in the oven until it is completely liquidated.
Step3
Once butter is melted, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly until the bottom of the pan is coated with butter soaked crumbs. It should resemble a graham cracker crust.
Step4
Evenly layer chocolate, then butterscotch and then walnuts (optional) on top of the graham cracker crust. Sprinkle remaining coconut flakes on top of the layered chocolate, butterscotch and walnuts until evenly covered.
Step5
Open can of sweetened condensed milk and pour evenly over top of the entire dish. Don't allow milk to pool in certain areas: be sure to spread it evenly along the top.
Step6
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is lightly brown. Cool thoroughly before cutting. Cut into small squares and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to wait until completely cool before cutting these bars. They are super gooey when warm!
