How to Make Skewered and Grilled Lemon Pepper Shrimp Kabobs

Step1
Purchase supplies. A short trip to a local grocery store that has a decent seafood market will provide you with any supplies necessary.
Step2
Heat up the grill. Before you begin any food preparation heat your grill setting it to high heat for ten minutes with the lid closed.
Step3
Prepare the shrimp. Discard of any packaging and wash the shrimp in lukewarm water. Then remove the skewers from the package and affix the shrimp to them. You want to skewer the shrimp directly in the middle, and you want to leave at least two inches of room on each end of the skewers.
Step4
Create the sauce. Microwave the stick of margarine in the basting bowl until it is fully melted. Stir in the pepper, lemon juice, salt, and finely minced garlic. Stir thoroughly and microwave for another two minutes on medium heat.
Step5
Grill the shrimp. With your basting dish, basting brush and skewered shrimp kabobs in hand, head out to your grill. Open the lid and set the heat to medium-low. Place the shrimp kabobs side-by-side on the grill and baste with the sauce. Cook for 7 minutes per side. Baste every few minutes. Serve and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • Taste the sauce as you make it. You can add more of the desired flavors for the taste you want.
  • Always wash your hands thoroughly when handling raw fish.
