Things You'll Need:
- Internet connection
- Excel Spreadsheet
- Computer
-
Step 1
Check News Daily. Spend a few minutes checking the NASCAR news daily. During the off-season (a.k.a. Silly Season), drivers will make important changes that can affect how they will run in the upcoming season. You need to be aware of those changes.
-
Step 2
Create Excel Spreadsheet. You need to track all the major changes in the off-season. If a driver changes his crew chief, if he changes to a different team, even if he changes his number, these things need to be taken into consideration for the upcoming season.
-
Step 3
Sort Spreadsheet Accordingly. Select some criteria that you feel will be the most important to you, then sort your spreadsheet accordingly. This will provide an excellent reference as the season progresses.
-
Step 4
Rank Your Drivers. Using your criteria, rank the drivers. This will help you make decisions during the season when you can’t make a decision between two drivers.
-
Step 5
Adjust and Readjust. As new information about changes for drivers are released you should change your rankings, especially if it is a major change like a new crew chief.
-
Step 6
Do Your Homework. As NASCAR’s popularity has grown; so has its roster of drivers. Take the time and do your homework on drivers who are new to the circuit. Some of the drivers coming over from other series you may have never heard of. You need to have yourself versed before the season begins and you potentially miss out on a great bargain.
-
Step 7
Make Selections Confidently and Dominate. Once Daytona, and the new NASCAR season, rolls around, you will have all the information you need to make your weekly selections with confidence. This leads to a winning.
