fresh coconut milk

glutinous rice

regular kind of rice

brown sugar

yeast

Step1
The measuring of the ingredients is up to you. You can adjust how much you are going to make or how many people being serve. These steps are of the general way of making our rice cake. This is our way ,there are a lot of ways.
First open a coconut shell and grate the meat out of it to get a coconut milk. Mix the two kinds of rice. Melt the sugar in the coconut milk. When the sugar is melted with the coconut milk pour this milk to the rice in a bucket or any container. After that,
grind the rice while being soak in a coconut milk. It should be very fine after grinding. Make it real fine or refine. After grinding add the baking powder or yeast to make the rice expand or grows. It is up to you how much sugar or kinds of sugar you need or want.
Step2
Set aside for few minutes while you prepare the baking sheets. You can use shapes to bake with it. Or any pots if there is nothing else to use for baking. If you have no oven ,you can use open fire or stove or anything that has a fire to bake.
Step3
When baking sheets is ready put just 1/4 of a cup each piece for best results. If it is bake in an open fire just put one cup of every container you use for baking. In short just use your common sense while preparing. Few minutes it is ready to serve.
Step4
This is purely manual in preparing this type of cake. If you want a machine to grind or grinder then you can do that also. But in the province like ours, we usually used our bear hands to do just about anything in terms of cooking or baking.
