Things You'll Need:
- Coca-Cola
- Vanilla ice cream
- Mixed CD with your choice of music
- Camera--video and digital
- Champagne glasses
- Prom decorations
- Appetizers

Step 1
Get permission from your parents to have a pre-prom party. Ask them if they will document the event with a digital camera or video camera.

Send out a prom party evite, inviting your friends to the “Coketail" party. Make sure the time of the event is well ahead of prom time, so that your guests have time to grab dinner before the prom.

Go to the grocery store and buy Coca-Cola, vanilla ice cream, straws and appetizers of your choice. Then, go to your local party store and pick up some prom-themed decorations, including a tablecloth.

Decorate the dining area of your home. Set up the glasses and the straws. At about 15 minutes before party time, bring out the Cokes, the ice cream and the appetizers. As guests come in, put two scoops of ice cream into their glasses and fill up the glass with Coca-Cola.

Have each couple pose for pictures, then head to prom.
