With temperatures reaching the eighties during the Los Angeles "winter," it can be difficult to get into the Christmas spirit--even in Tinseltown. These tips should give you some ideas of how and where to celebrate Christmas memories with your loved ones and friends.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Head to the Blvd. at the Beverly Wilshire and cuddle up by the chocolate bar. Cocoa cocktails like the melted snowflake—white chocolate cocoa and white chocolate liquor—are special-made for the holidays. Scrumptious desserts are offered that complement the cocktails.

  2. Step 2

Stop by the Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills (403 N. Crescent Drive) for Tabletop S’mores. A mini campfire is brought to your table, and surrounded by chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers.

  3. Step 3

Travel to Knot’s Berry Farm for a Christmas extravaganza. The Spirit of the Season Parade features a Christmas celebration with cartoon characters, floats and carols. Snoopy’s Cool Christmas Ice Show features a holiday-themed ice-skating performance. The Farm’s Christmas Crafts Villa allows park guests to take a look at and experience crafts created by artists. The area is transformed into a winter wonderland with carolers singing and vivid holiday décor.

  4. Step 4

Head to the Grove at the Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles. A huge Christmas tree is put up every year with lights, tinsel and decorative bulbs hanging from its branches. Christmas decorations abound throughout the Grove as well, giving it a romantic touch at night.
