Step1
You can add a celebration plate to your dinnerware in couple of ways. There are companies like The Pampered Chef that have a celebration product that you can buy to add to your cabinet. You could also visit a local paint your own pottery studio that are popular in many cities to create your own plate.
Step2
Once you have the plate use it to honor birthdays, good grades, promotions, meeting goals and other achievements of family members. When you set the table for the meal simply place the celebration plate at the individuals usual spot at the dinner table. When everyone notices that it is out you can talk about why and give the recipient the chance to share their good news and accomplishments with everyone.

The plate is a great way to encourage your family to support one another and to be proud of the small and large achievements of each member. All members of the family can be involved in choosing if someone will get to use the plate. View it like a traveling trophy in your family that will make it's recipients feel loved and appreciated.
